By Car:From Boston, take I-93 North to I-95 North, or take I-95 North from the west. Keep left at exit 45 and follow Rt. 128 toward Gloucester. At exit 25A, take Rt. 114 East into Salem. Be sure to follow signs for Rte 114 as there are a few turns. Approximately one mile after entering Salem, you will cross an overpass after which you will exit right then turn right onto Rt. 107/Bridge St. Go straight through the light and take your second right, onto St Peter St. Go left at the stop sign and enter the parking garage. Take the elevator to the "M" level and turn right walking through the mall to Essex St. where you will turn right and walk two blocks to the pedestrian entrance to Derby Square on your left.

By Bus: From Boston, board the No. 450 or No. 455 bus at Haymarket Square. You can try the MBTA Trip Planner website to get train and bus routes within the Metro Boston area at (use "Derby Square, Salem, MA" as the destination address).

By Train: Take the MBTA Commuter Rail (Newburyport/Rockport line) from Boston's North Station or other points, to Salem Station. (A three minute walk to Essex Street). Go up the steps to street level, cross Bridge Street, and walk down Washington Street. Go left on Essex Street and walk about a blockto the pedestrian entrance to Derby Square on your right.

By Ferry: From Boston, board Salem Ferry at Central Wharf (New England Aquarium Whale Watch booth) for a relaxing 50-minute trip aboard a high-speed catamaran. Ferry docks at the Blaney Street Wharf on Salem's historic waterfront-a short walk or pedi-cab ride to Essex Street. Eight round trips daily.
