About Spring Fling 2011
Celebrate the Return of Spring at our 4th Annual Bacchanalia! We’ll be kicking off Salem Restaurant Week with a sampling of culinary delights from Salem restaurants, a tasting of fine wine and craft beer, music and art! (Food and wine/beer sampling included in ticket)
You'll meet familiar characters from myth and legend and enjoy the goddesses and nymphs that wander the "Garden of Earthly Delights."
Roman attire is encouraged!! Check out his video from Spring Fling 2010 to see what's in store.We'll have great craft beer from Magic Hat, Ipswich, Stone Cat, Cape Ann Brewing, Harpoon, Blue Hills, Mayflower, Cody Brewing, Left Hand Brewing, Narragansett, Clown Shoes, Notch Session Beer, and more! We'll also have a fine selection of wines from around the world from Pamplemousse and Market Wine & Spirits.
Food and desserts will be served by the best Salem restaurants: Rockafellas, Sixty2 on the Wharf, Lobster Shanty, Victoria Station, The Upper Crust Pizzeria, Lakay Island, Café Polonia, Comida, Gulu-Gulu Café, Tavern in the Square, and Greenland Cafe! Enjoy coffee and desserts from Café Valverde,and Ben & Jerry’s. All attendees will receive a free collectable glass.
Groove to the Beantown funk of Big Ol' Dirty Bucket and their unique blend of Funk, Rock, R&B, Soul, Jam Grooves, Trip Hop, Latin Step, Blues, and Experimental Soundscapes.Have fun with the "Green Screen" from Frankenstein's Art and hear your fortune from The Oracle at Delphi, and lots of great art from local artists. Plus.. Art Throb will be launching their new art magazine at Spring Fling!
